Transformation, Painful?

Oh hell yeah, it sure can be! I don't just speak from personal experience but from witnessing my friends and clients who have gone through transformations. And does it seem to you that transformation and change seems to meet us around each corner we turn of late? I've always said that I love change in life but whew, sometimes it gets ridiculous. And can we just talk about exhaustion?

How do we know when we are in a period of transformation? There's an array of possible signs, no set parameters though. Physically we can experience pain, headaches, backaches, tremors that we typically don't have and other aches and pains throughout the body. It can be important to note these different issues and do some investigative work to see what is behind them. For example: If you're experiencing some problems with your knees that weren't there before this can be a sign that you're not being flexible in life or are afraid of being too flexible. There are times we have to see things from a different perspective in order to make a fully knowledgeable decision regarding our life. Seeing things in a new perspective can be scary and unpredictable.

There may also be a sudden fogginess in the head or in our thinking. Forgetting to do things or not being able to make decisions when normally we are quick in decision making. If your schedule is typically packed and now there's nothing! Where has everyone gone? There can be a lull in productivity giving you time to rest and revitalize for what's ahead. Instead of getting worried and anxious appreciate the time to rev back up & get the creative juices flowing for something new to happen.

Have you ever woke up and felt the sudden urge to purge your closets or junk drawers? Maybe even the whole house?! This can also be a sign that it's time for you to make room for something new to enter into your world. It could be a transition in your housing! Eek! Moving, tell me that isn't painful! Not that every time you feel like throwing things out means you're going to move but one never knows.

These are just a few examples of how times of transition can present themselves in your life. Yes, they can be painful physically, mentally and emotionally but once we have embraced them we enjoy the brand new adventure that has manifested in our world. And when we look back on this time we can see how we have grown and been elevated through that journey.
